When I was in grade school, I was making stop-motion films. In high school, I engineered a makeshift pinhole camera. The passion for visual storytelling was always there, just untapped. Soon after I began university, flirtation with film and photography flipped to a passion. At 23 years old, I moved out to Hawaii in full pursuit of this passion, eager to support the development of stellar creative work. I bring a stylized and exotic feel to modern storytelling by utilizing 8mm and 16mm motion picture film in conjunction with digital methods. I find that vintage cameras paired with expressive editing can put a charismatic and eye-catching slant on modern storytelling.
